2007 Convocation
The College of Information Alumni Association bylaws underwent a revision in the last two years. Some of the changes that took place during this revision were: expansion of the membership categories to include distance learners and graduates from the undergraduate program. In addition, email communication was included as a method by which the association can conduct its business. The current College of Information Alumni Association Board formed in the summer of 2004 and it reflects this new membership condition.

During the fall 2005, the Board had its first conference call with Dr. Dennis Larry, Dean of College of Information and Dr. Corinne Jörgensen, Associate Dean of Research and Academic Affairs. Many exciting opportunities were identified during this exchange that would allow a much closer collaboration between the College of Information Alumni Association and the College. The revamping of the Alumni website was identified as a priority action and since then, many changes have been made.
