Mega M Subramaniam earned her B.S (Hons), in Computers in Education from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia and her M.S. in Instructional Systems Technology from the Indiana University, Bloomington. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Information Studies at the College of Information, Florida State University. She was previously a faculty member at the Department of Educational Multimedia at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and has also taught several courses at the undergraduate and graduate level at Florida State University. She has worked as an instructional designer and has been appointed as the lead instructional designer for several national and international projects.
Dr. M Subramaniam’s research interests include social informatics, emergences of new areas of inquiry related to computing, information technology education, information technology workforce, gender and diversity in information technology education and qualitative methodologies. Her personal interests include cooking and baking.
