Michelle Kazmer (Assistant Professor) earned her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, her MLS at the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in mechanical engineering at Columbia University. She worked at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, as a technical information specialist, and prior to that as an engineering librarian and electronic documents coordinator at the University of Illinois.
Her teaching and research interests include virtual communities, computer-mediated communication, and information literacy.
