Members Present:Capps, Gilmore, Hurston, Cnudde, Burnett, K., Latham, and Robbins

Update on relocating offices: Furniture has been ordered for Gilmore, Jenkins, and Robbins and it should arrive by August 1.

Storage space in need of attention: Store room off 010; Capps and Latham will clean and discard any unnecessary material or furniture. Items that can will be sent to surplus. Hurston will be cleaning and relocating the SOLTAS lounge and new lounge area. Cnudde will assist with discarding materials in the new lounge.

Concerns were expressed regarding orientation and staffing of the library and office. Hurston will work with Maatta.

The new mailboxes are here and all faculty and staff will have a mailbox. The new mail policy is below:

1. All outgoing mail will be moved to the lounge. Express packages, etc. will continue to be handled by the front desk.

2. Mail will be distributed once a day only, by 3:00 PM. If you are expecting urgent mail, please be sure that you return the incoming mail to its bin after looking through it.

3. Mail will not be opened and date-stamped, with the exception of the dean's mail. Date stamps will be available at the reception desks in administrative services and student services for those who wish to date stamp their own mail.

4. Student assignments will be accepted at the reception desk in administrative services during regular hours. All student assignments will be date stamped and placed in the instructor's mailbox during the next mail distribution. Instructors are welcome to pick up student assignments prior to mail distribution.

5. Packages will be placed below the tables holding the mailboxes. We will not normally notify you of the receipt of a package.
