  4. Reports of Special Teams and other Team Business:
    DISASTER PLAN (PH) Nothing new to report (per PH). However, KB suggested making this top priority Spring 2000. DL suggested once a policy is developed to have DePew to review and make recommendations.

  5. Unfinished Business:
    SUPERVISION OF ADMNISTRATIVE OPS EMPLOYEES, STUDENT SERVICES OPS EMPLOYEES, GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTANTS AND GRADUATE ASSISTANTS (PH) PH stated she is the office manager and supervisor of all OPS employees and to communicate with her regarding work to get done or problems that may come up. In the Spring, she plans to be here each day. TIME SHEETS (KB) KB and CG will develop a procedure and policy for distribution and collection of timesheets. Graduate Research Assistants who miss turning in two timesheets in a row (which totals four weeks of work) will have their pay stopped and will risk having to repay their fee waiver.

  6. New Business:
    SIS BUILDING ADDITIONS The Dean has requested all teams place on their agenda their observations of what they think the additoin to the building should include. For example, is new workspace needed, or a re-design of current space? All teams are to submit to the Dean by Friday, March 3 their report. The Dean has stated some of the Schools needs are: a) a conference room--large enough to hold 40 people; b) a lecture facility--3 classrooms like room 006; c) an Administrative Suite--Dean's office, Assoc Dean's office, Development Officer's office, reception office/area, Executive Secretary's office, Accountant's office, workroom, small conference area, and student services area. It was noted that equipment or items are needed to do a job should be included (i.e., the workroom for mail/copiers/supplies). KB reported that the School would be attempting to maintain its growth. It looks like the School will be on the PECO list in about five years. If the plan were completed now, it would easier to get funding for the addition to the building. KB is not sure the date has been communicated to all teams. SPRING MEETINGS DJ proposed that the team meet January 6, 2000 at 11:00 am. Due to conflicts it was suggest that January 8, 2000 at 11:00 am be the first Spring meeting.
