    1. PhD Carrell situation.
    -Admin. Desk to deliver mail.
    -Resident/Local students first preference; then first year students.
    -Year by year decision on doling out carrels.
    -Apply to Pam Hurston for keys.
    -Deadline - 1st week of semester.
    -Carrell to Gluck for letter of acceptance: available first-come-first serve the first week of classes.

  6. New Business:
    1. Evaluation of student assistants:
    -Review G.A. Evaluation form (for Goldstein and admin. Desk).
    -do midterm for next semester hiring.
    -Generic forms (with addendums per position) - Hurston to draft.

    2. Recruitment of (specialist) students.
    -Liason (Bothure - Coleman) with FAMU for graduate students.
    -Contact FAMU library.
    -Contact Lauren Sapp; Stephanie to draft letter.
    -Create page on website about enrollment (Hurston, Cheshire.
    -Change (7) page insert to (one) page.
    -Discussion on website entry page; add Dodd Hall graphic.

    3. Fall 200 Orientation.
    -Maatta to draft proposal; Capps to look at dates.
    -Need to update deadlines on our website: supplemental application,
    graduation approval form.

    4. Building additions - brainstorming.
    -Student Services to have all present suite?
    -Visited four other departments to view their office arrangements.
    -Suggestion is made for a workroom.
    -Suggestion is made for an interview area.
