1- Policy for Late Drops -
Mr. T. Wagar presented a draft made up by reviewing other department's policies and documents on late drops. This draft will be completed and fine tuned for our next meeting for review and approval. May be put in action for Fall 2000.
2- Policy on Reinstatements -
Dr. Latham performed some research and found out that in mid-January there will be a meeting of the Council of Associate Deans and they will discuss the issue. He will bring a report on this issue on future meeting.
3- Undergraduate Program Proposal -
The Undergraduate Program Proposal document was presented. Brief discussion took place about its section on additional resources (personnel) required to implement the plan, but it was decided for every member to take the document and present opinions and recommendations through e-mail to Dr. G. Burnett and/or Dr. D. Latham on or before January 7, 2000.
4- Discussion of Seat Wiring -
In this discussion it was proposed to consider wireless connection. Although this may not work building-wise, it will work perfectly within classrooms. This will be discussed next semester and will be considered to be included in our proposal for building expansion.
5- Announcement about Price Waterhouse Executive Speakers Series.
A brochure about the Price Waterhouse Executive Speakers Series was presented and briefly talked upon. However, the information does not presents clearly if this will be for free or if there is a charge involved.
6- Undergraduate Team Scheduling -
It was tentatively approved to have next semester's Undergraduate team meetings on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm, based on the actual members schedule. It was also discussed that our team will need replacements for undergraduate representatives, a faculty member, and staff advisor member(s) for the Spring 2000 term.
