Museum Studies

Purpose

To prepare College of Information graduates for museum careers by giving them the ability to analyze and achieve objectives in the professional museum field.

This certificate program offers specific museum instruction in addition to a student’s CI studies. It also offers opportunities to receive valuable training in the field while working closely with museum staff on meaningful projects.

Note: This certificate is not available online.

Certificate Requirements

Take a total of 19 credit hours from a list of approved courses.

Requirements for Admission and Award of a Certificate

This certificate is available to degree-seeking and non-degree students.
Up to six credits may be counted toward the certificate AND the Master’s degree.
