University Fellowships: The Office of Graduate Studies administers the University Fellowship Program. Awards are made annually to minority and non-minority students. This is a University-wide competition, which annually provides 47 University Fellowships of $10,000 each plus a tuition waiver of up to 12 hours for each term. Applications for this competition are available in the FSU Office of Graduate Studies, 408 Westcott Building, or in departmental offices. Participation requires departmental nomination and ranking. College Teaching Fellowships: Currently the University awards 33 College Teaching Fellowships annually for new graduate students. While the Office of Graduate Studies administers these, a specific number of Teaching Fellowships is awarded to each school and college, and each college administers the competition. Information about these fellowships is available through the department or college. The base stipend is $6,300, though some colleges and departments supplement this award. Each college or department decides what duties will be required by the fellow. Depending on the duties, 9 to 12 hours of graduate tuition will be waived.
