Financial Aid for International Students

College of Information Assistance

The College of Information does not have scholarships that can be awarded to International students. In general, the College is not in a position to award financial aid to International students in the initial semester of enrollment. The College does have a small number of assistantships for which International students may apply in the second and subsequent semesters, although these awards are generally quite competitive.

For information about these assistantships, please contact Delores Bryant, the Graduate Program Assistant in Graduate Student Services is your point of contact for graduate assistantships. You can reach her at bryant@list.fsu.edu or by phone through the main information desk at (850) 644-5775.

University Assistance: International Linkage Institutes

There are no Florida State University sponsored scholarships, grants, loans, or fellowships offered by Florida State University for international students. However, undergraduate and graduate applicants may apply for exemption of the out-of-state portion of tuition through one of the many linkage institutes established between the State of Florida and selected countries. To apply for an out-of-state fee exemption, contact the Linkage Institute director for the country in which you reside. You do not need to be planning to attend the institution where the Linkage Institute office is located.

For contact information, please consult the information at: http:// www.fsu.edu/prospective/undergraduate/finances/intsch.shtml
