Readmission

Details about the criteria for applying as a returning student may be found at https://admissions.fsu.edu/Readmissions/. In brief…

1. If you were previously enrolled in our graduate degree program within the last 7 years and have not been enrolled for two or more semesters, you would apply for readmission as a returning student. Review the requirements for readmission to the university found at: https://admissions.fsu.edu/Readmissions/.
   
   Remember that in addition to the Application for Readmission you are required to complete a new Residency Form (found at http://admissions.fsu.edu/) and to submit an official transcript from every institution you have attended since your last enrollment at FSU.
   
   International students must also submit a new Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR). See information at http://www.ic.fsu.edu/newstudents/certfinancialresp.cfm.
   
   
2. If you earned a graduate degree at FSU within the last 7 years and want to apply to our program as a second graduate degree, you would also apply for readmission as a returning student. You must comply with the requirements above; in addition, you must complete two supplemental documents: a Program Information/ Statement of Goals document and a Reference Information document. Both can be found at http://ci.fsu.edu/graduate/adm/supportingdocs/Masters_Degree.asp. Instead of uploading the documents as new applicants do, save each of them as a Word document and send to Marion Davis, our records manager: as an attachment to mdavis@ci.fsu.edu or by fax to (850) 644-9763.
