Student wins grant with class assignment
Specialist student Melissa Johnson in the Project LEAD program has received a $1,500 grant award based on a project she developed in Dr. Christie Koontz’s Marketing of Library and Information Services class. Melissa, a media specialist in Forsyth County Georgia and former Georgia Teacher of the Year, won a Bright Ideas Grant from the Sawnee EMC, a local utility provider.
