The College of Information is pleased to offer its undergraduate students the services of two full-time professional undergraduate program advisors, and the assistance of a group of dedicated peer advisors.
Undergraduate Program Professionals: Undergraduate Student Services professionals are your primary point of administrative contact. Some of the tasks performed include: assisting in adding and dropping classes, assuring that you meet requirements for the major, assisting with course selection, providing graduation checks, and clarifying University policies.
Peer Advisors: The Undergraduate Student Service Professionals are assisted by a group of peer counselors who are experienced students in the program. They can answer your questions about specific professors and course work. Peer Advisors give you the student's perspective of the program.
Faculty Advisors:Your Faculty Advisor is assigned to you when you become an Information Studies major, and can provide career advice and help about professional development.
For general information about the program, contact the advisors at: bsit@ci.fsu.edu.
