Bachelor's Concentrations
Although not required, an area of concentration is strongly recommended for Information Studies majors. The following lists suggest six concentration areas for undergraduate students, and indicate a recommended sequencing of the courses within the concentration. Suggested courses from other departments are not required and may have prerequisites, and may require permission of the departments offering the courses. The School of Information Studies will accept only one course from another department as a substitute for an Information Studies elective course. As a recommendation, it may be adapted according to an individual student's needs or interests.
