What we do
Located in Goldstein Library, the College of Information CI helpdesk team oversees all IT support for students, faculty, and staff and offers the following services:
Help Desk
Available 81 hours per week to provide IT support in person or by email, instant messenger, or discussion board
Network and course Web user logins and passwords
We oversee both local area network user accounts and online course Web site user accounts.
Hardware/Software/Networking Technology Support
Have a problem using a lab or teaching computer? Having problems logging in? No problem, we can take care of you.
Equipment Checkouts (digital cameras, camcorders, and laptops)
A little known fact around the School is that faculty AND students can checkout equipment for three days at a time with a valid FSU card.
Telephone support
If you have problems with your telephone, checking voicemail, etc. we can work with the FSU Office of Technology Communications to take care of the problem.

Our staff are teachers and mentors and our vision statement is “learning through service” which embodies the emphasis on the strong relationship between serving our users and learning simultaneously. |
